Oaknoll Resident Council...
The Association of Oaknoll Residents was organized as a structure for exchange of information with the staff and Oaknoll Board of Directors and to promote participation of the residents in the activities of the retirement residence.
The Resident Council was established to provide for the orderly conduct of the business of the Association. The general purpose of the Resident Council is to represent Oaknoll residents in achieving objectives of their common interests and to serve as liaison between the resident body, the Administration, and the Board of Directors in matters concerning the welfare, safety and comfort of the residents.
The Council is made up of elected representatives and meets monthly with the Oaknoll administrative staff. Twice yearly meetings with residents are held to discuss current issues, introduce new residents and new staff and to hold a memorial service for residents who have past away since the last meeting.
