What is the Health Center?

Our Health Center consists of 32 beds licensed for skilled nursing care and 16 beds licensed for intermediate care. Having skilled licensure means that we are qualified to take care of severely ill persons unless they require hospitalization for surgery, intensive care or complex diagnostic tests. Oaknoll's unique LifeCare program offers you a continuum of worry-free care.

 

Are there any extra payments when a resident moves to the Health Center?

When residents go to the Health Center, they pay only their monthly apartment service fee plus additional meals. The services of the resident's personal physician and other specialists and the cost of prescriptions will be paid by the resident. These are the same costs that a resident would be paying if they were in their own apartment. At Oaknoll, under our LifeCare plan, you can be assured that if you should ever need to use our Health Center, your additional costs are few.
