Oaknoll Board of Directors...
As a not-for-profit organization Oaknoll Retirement Residence is governed by a 16-member Board of Directors and three member advisory committee comprised of volunteers from the Iowa City community. The Board has an active slate of committees representing such areas as finance, admissions, personnel, resident and public relations, and planning and development.
The function of the Oaknoll Board is to be responsible for the vision and mission of Oaknoll, as well as over see the Executive Director.
Current Board members represent a cross section of citizens and vocations. Among those serving are attorneys, bankers, contractors, clergy, doctors, nurses, realtors, retailers and the University of Iowa. All members have resided in the Iowa City area for many years and have daily contact with the public. Karen Franklin is the Board President.
